Giving much cheer to Ajith fans, the actor’s upcoming film, which is his 57th project, started rolling in the city today with a traditional pooja. The event held at a Sai Baba temple saw the participation of producer T G Thiyagarajan, director Siva, music composer Anirudh and others.
“Ajith did not attend the function since his looks in the movie have been kept as secret,” sources said, adding that the ‘thala’ is playing a James Bond-type stylish role in this yet untitled movie.
“Yes, he is doing the role of a FBI agent who unravels the mystery behind a mega crime. He will be seen in a ultra-modern get-up,” sources added.
There will be no heroines, it is said, and one of them is Anushka Shetty, who had earlier shared the screen space with Ajith in ‘Yennai Arindhaal’. Remaining details (other members of the cast and crew, title etc) are expected to be revealed soon. The first schedule will start in the UK on July 15, it is learnt.
