EIPI is much simpler than its name. EIPI would not appeal to all but does well to please a certain section who finds such movies good fun.
There is nothing much in the story that is mostly rehashed from various movie parts. The screenplay has mindless and slapstick comedy written all over helping EIPI work and staying afloat. The quips work well mostly and that way though very predictable EIPI just about manages to stay away from being boring. With a bevy of movies being used for dialogues or spoofs EIPI will manage to draw out laughter from its targeted audience who enjoy such stuff.
GVP looks very comfortable in his role and with this coming after a disastrous “Pencil” should work wonders for him. The heroine has no role in this movie save for the songs and the rest of the cast play to the gallery most of the time satisfactorily. Middle aged actors in retro style make for some amusing viewing.
The cinematography is very adequate and so are the other departments in the movie making the feel of the movie very average. GVP’s own music and bg score is nothing to rave about and that’s a dampener plus a sloppy editing makes the script very average.
EIPI is like watching snippets of comedies from movies on a comedy channel, just that here they are stringed if not perfectly very adequately.
