THIS CHILDREN’S DAY WATCH OUT FOR DISNEY-PIXAR’S COCO!!

Children’s day (also known as Bal Divas) in India is celebrated every year on 14th of November to increase the awareness of people towards the rights, care and education of children. Across decades, children’s films have enthralled audiences with their ingenious story lines, emotional moments, hilarious moments and amazing VFX to bring not only kids but even families and adults together.

This 24th November too, a most unique children’s and family film will be presented to audiences, COCO, yet another Oscar hopeful by Disney-Pixar, directed by Toy Story 3 director Unkrich, a multi-generational story about the power of family relationships, features characters from the Land of the Living, and their loved ones who’ve moved on to the Land of the Dead.

From the Land of the Dead, Gael García Bernal (Amazon’s “Mozart in the Jungle”) helps bring to life charming trickster Hector, Benjamin Bratt(FOX’s “Star,” “Doctor Strange”) is the voice of Miguel’s idol Ernesto de la Cruz, and Edward James Olmos (“Blade Runner,” “Stand and Deliver”) lends his voice to Chicharrón.

The leading studio for children’s film, Pixar has produced eighteen feature films, beginning with Toy Story (1995), which was the first-ever computer-animated feature film, and its most recent being Cars 3 (2017). The studio has also produced several short films. As of July 2017, its feature films have earned approximately $11 billion at the worldwide box office, with an average worldwide gross of $634 million per film.Finding Nemo (2003), along with its sequel Finding Dory (2016), as well as Toy Story 3 (2010) are among the 50 highest-grossing films of all time, with the lattermost film being the third all-time highest-grossing animated film with a gross of $1.063 billion. Thirteen of Pixar’s films are also among the 50 highest-grossing animated films of all time.

The studio has earned sixteen Academy Awards, seven Golden Globe Awards, and eleven Grammy Awards, among many other awards and acknowledgments. Many of Pixar’s films have been nominated for the Academy Award for Best Animated Feature since its inauguration in 2001, with eight winning; this includes Finding Nemo and Toy Story 3, along with The Incredibles (2004), Ratatouille (2007), WALL-E (2008), Up (2009), Brave (2012), and Inside Out(2015). Monsters, Inc. (2001) and Cars (2006) are the only two films that were nominated for the award without winning it. My Little Pony

My Little Pony: The Movie is a 2017 animated musical comedy fantasy film based on the television series My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic, which was developed as part of the 2010 re-launch of the My Little Pony franchise by Hasbro. The film was directed by Jayson Thiessen and based on a story and screenplay co-written by Meghan McCarthy, both Friendship Is Magicveterans. In addition to the series regular voice cast of Tara Strong, Ashleigh Ball, Andrea Libman, Tabitha St. Germain and Cathy Weseluck, the film also features the voices of Emily Blunt, Kristin Chenoweth, Liev Schreiber, Michael Peña, Sia, Taye Diggs, Uzo Aduba and Zoe Saldana as new characters.

Golmaal Again

This Diwali the audience was treated to the magnum opus Golmaal Again which received an outstanding appreciation from all quarters. Not only did the family audience go out in huge numbers to watch the film, Golmaal created many trend-setting records too. The movie performed extremely well specially with kids and is still currently in theaters!

5th November: Pokemon the Movie – I Choose You

Pokemon the movie- I choose you is a 2017 Japanese anime adventure film directed by Kunihiko Yuyama, written by Shoji Yonemura. Released as the twentieth Pokémon movie and the first film in the Sun and Moon series, it acts as a loose retelling of the original Indigo League saga of the show, released to commemorate the anime’s twentieth anniversary.

17th November: The Star

The Star is an upcoming American computer-animated Christian comedy film directed by Timothy Reckart.Based on the Nativity of Jesus, and of an original pitch by Tom Sheridan, it is written by Carlos Kotkin and Simon Moore. The film is set to be released on November 17, 2017 by Columbia Pictures.
The stellar cast includes Tracy Morgan, Tyler Perry and Oprah Winfrey

15th December: Ferdinand

Ferdinand is an upcoming 2017 American 3D computer-animated comedy-drama film produced by Blue Sky Studios and 20th Century Fox Animation. It is based on Munro Leaf’s children’s book The Story of Ferdinand and directed by Carlos Saldanha, and stars the voices of John Cena, Kate McKinnon, Gina Rodriguez, David Tennant.

29th December: Jumanji – Welcome to the Jungle

Everyone remembers the cult Jumanji starring Robin Williams. In the brand new adventure Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle starring Dwayne Johnson, the tables are turned as four teenagers in detention are sucked into the world of Jumanji. When they discover an old video game console with a game they’ve never heard of, they are immediately thrust into the game’s jungle setting, into the bodies of their avatars, played by Dwayne Johnson, Jack Black, Kevin Hart, and Karen Gillan. What they discover is that you don’t just play Jumanji –Jumanji plays you. They’ll have to go on the most dangerous adventure of their lives, or they’ll be stuck in the game forever.
