Madhavan, who is currently in the United States, is learning the Chinese martial arts Wushu. The actor, who will soon start working on his next Tamil film to be directed by Sarkunam, is also on a strict workout regime to reduce the weight he put on for ‘Irudhi Suttru’
“It is a big budget flick to be mostly shot in abroad. It requires Madhavan to learn wushu and to sport a slim look. Hence, he is acquiring them under the supervision of experts in the US,” sources said.
This apart, Madhavan will also be part of the Tamil remake of Malayalam hit ‘Charlie’, which had Dulquer Salman in the lead role. Also he is doing a flick with the director duo of Pushkar and Gayathri.
“It is true that Madhavan was out of Kollywood for a while. But now, he is keen to reposition himself strong here. At the same time, he will also do Bollywood movies,” sources said.
