SANGILI BUNGILI KADHAVE THORAE MOVIE REVIEW

SBKT is a long name for a movie but that can be identified by most and is directed by debutant director Ike., that happens to be unconventional name too.

Well again we have the same comedy and horror kichdi that Kollywood is hell bent on feeding the audience. Here better quality was expected because of the star cast but unfortunately the script with a not so boring plot lacks depth and the narration is saved only by good performances in a sinking screenplay. The laughs are sparse and forced while there is absolutely nil horror.

Jeeva can hardly come out with a bad act and is very decent in this movie. Sri divya as the heroine has little to do and is highly forgettable. Radhika plays the mother role as usual while Thambi Rambaiah is routinely boring in his usual role. Radha Ravi is OK while Suri surprisingly is less cliché with his new hairdo.

Cinematography by Sooryan is good while music by Vishal Chandrashekar is listenable. Editing is by Suresh and he has given it a decent cut. Dialogues are OK while Ike scores with his direction.
SBKTT could have been a lot more interesting and entertaining had the team put more work in the screenplay.
