SPTA Kumar (SPTA?), this is his debut film and he has invested a lot in a totally new cast.
The story has a lot of emotions thrown in like romance, bromance and some action too. The drawback is that none of these emotions are strongly showcased and they are very flimsy. There was good potential in the story line but the characters are so weakly etched that it hampers the progress of the movie big time.
Harish a new comer is the hero in the film and though he tries his best he comes woefully short. He is okay as the casual guy but in action and emotions he is very average. Yamini Bhaskar is very plain and does her bit in a limited role. The others in the form of Sithara, Arjuna and Pavel do a decent job and manage to carry the film a little ahead.
Music is heavily inspired from old hits and the background is decent, Prabu Sankar is the music director of the film. Vinoth Rathnasamy is behind the camera and does an OK job. Editing is fine with the limited resources available while the dialogues could have been a lot better. Direction for a first timer is decent.
