Culinary treat awaits the foodies as “Punjab Grill meets Chennai”

Food aficionados of Chennai are set to experience the outburst of varied flavors from the Northern and Southern part of the country as Punjab Grill, the flagship restaurant of Lite Bite Foods is introducing the new “Punjab Grill meets Chennai” menu. Chef Vijay Sethi from Punjab Grill has teamed up with Chef Vetrimurugan Natesan from Zambar, the South Indian specialty restaurant from Lite Bite Foods to curate this unique menu. While the South Indian dishes spells a lovable affair with exotic spices from the hills and flavors from the coasts, the North Indian dishes boast about the rich aromatic gravies, spicy vegetable stir-fries, moist and tender slow-cooked meat, and sinful desserts.

The menu is non-vegetarian’s paradise with culinary gems such as Meen Manga, sole simmered with raw mango chunks, whole spices, spiked with green chillies, Murgh Sirka Pyaj, succulent chicken tikka, pickled onion and tomato gravy, Valai Ilai Meen Veruval, spicy fried sole marinated with a blend of unique South Indian spices and Tawa Keema Kaleji, goat liver and kidney cooked in a rich stock of cloves, black cardamom, cinnamon and other spices. For vegetarian lovers, the menu has array of menu items such as Mooligai Adai, a traditional herbal South Indian dosa made with instant batter prepared with rice and mix of lentils, Makai Palak Bhurji, fresh chopped spinach and corns with aromatic spices and herbs and Avial, mix of seasonal vegetable with coconut, seasoned with coconut oil and curry leaves. Complete your life with flavorful Ponni Rice and Malabar Parantha followed by soul satisfying Gulab Jamun, Jalebi Churros paired up with Semiya Paal Payasam.
