Actress Pooja Devariya, who made an impact in Kollywood with her performance in fllms like ‘Mayakkam Enna’, ‘Iraivi’, ‘Kuttrame Thandanai’ and ‘Aandavan Kattalai’, has received a Hollywood recognition.
She was presented with the ‘Emerging Artists Award’ at the Short and Sweet Theatre Festival’s Hollywood edition in Los Angeles, which is the largest short theatre festival in the world.
Pooja Devariya and Mathivanan Rajendran of Stray Factory were the only Indian team at the festival, which had participation from Emmy award winning artistes and those from Mexico, USA, Australia and UAE.
They performed plays ‘My Name is Cine-maa’ and ‘Va Van Gogh’. Meanwhile in Kollywood, Pooja is now part of Bobby Simha starrer ‘Vallavanukku Vallavan’ (which is also being produced by him) and other projects.
