Raid is an action thriller film written and directed by Karthi, while the dialogue for the film was penned by M. Muthaiya. It is a remake of the 2018 Kannada film Tagaru starring Shiva Rajkumar
RAID is once again a cop movie that seems to be the recent obsession of TFI. This film is very predictable and with the makers rely on the editor to make it interesting for the audience. With no effective storyline and just violence all over this film doesn’t even pause for a moment for any logic or reasoning. The movie is all over the place with characters popping out only to be killed. With too much violence and very average performances, the film can attract only action lovers.
Vikram Prabhu is OK. Sri Divya is fine and the rest of the cast do their job effectively.
Stunt scenes are choreographed well and that is an advantage. Kathiravan’s cinematography is OK. Sam CS music is loud. Editing is inconsistent. Dialogues are average and direction is standard.
RAID is a very average action flick.
