Chutney Sambar is a Tamil-language comedy drama television series written and directed by Radha Mohan.The series is produced by Ishari K. Ganesh under Vels Film International banner.
Radha Mohan is famous for his style unadulterated, family movies that have worked well with the audience. So the shift to series was quite an interesting one considering the fact that he has now a bigger audience to lap up his endearing stories. The problem with series is the editing as the filmmaker has a lengthy duration to slowly feed the audience the plot and the same happens here as well as the first 20 minutes is a drag before the actual plot is revealed. From here it gets interesting and the screenplay though lazy and laidback makes an impression. The characters are well carved out and despite the serial effect might find the necessary audience engaged. Two episodes were revealed and so far they looked decent.
The series has a host of actors in Yogi Babu, Chandran and Vani Bhojan in the main lead roles along with Nithin Sathya, Elango Kumaravel, Myna Nandhini, and many others in supporting roles
The music is composed by Ajesh while the cinematography is by Prasanna Kumar, while Jijendran takes care of the editing.
It is to be seen how the series progresses as it gets released on 26th of this month.
