What works instantly for the film is its acerbic dialogues. The nonchalant presentation that never for a minute looks forced or filmy is a huge advantage as the director wholeheartedly believes in the strength of what he wants to communicate and rarely makes a compromise. We have lengthy scenes that do not say much but yet convey a lot to the ones who do identifies with the on screen happenings. A film strictly for the youth of today, the film doesn’t try to communicate any message but lets the character be themselves without being judgemental until some remorse towards the end. The average production values might be a letdown while this film could have been much more effective as a film on OTT with stronger production values.
The young actors in the film deliver the goods. Senthur Pandiyan is good. Preethy Karan too is neat. The friend of Senthur too makes the cut.
Udhay Thangavel’s cinematography is good for the budget. Pradeep Kumar’s background score is effectual. Dialogues are taut and direction is fine.
