Rhapsody 2017have gathered people for a social cause which was conducted on the second Saturday of May,every year.
The Thenmozhi Memorial Trust a volunteer initiative which have been actively participated themselves for the treatment and care for Cancer patients that was organized as an annual fundraiser event for the underprivileged cancer patients Titled as ‘Rhapsody’, it’s a ‘Celebration for Cause’ which includes a grand entertainment of arts in the form of Music, Singing, Dance, Mimicry, Standup Comedy and other live performances. The organizing committee of this cultural extravaganza constitutes of a group of like-minded volunteers who shared a passion to make a difference and contributed for a special cause. The program took place on the Rhapsody’17 May 13, 2017 Sri Mutha Venkata SubbaRao Auditorium of Lady Andal School.
All the proceeds from the ticket sales have been be used only sole for the benefit of underprivileged cancer patients through various activities. Which accommodated 1500 people. The social event have featured various cultural events that was performed by corporates as well as television artists and other celebrities in the city.
The program started by the Inauguration of Director Balaji Mohan – who is a Brand Ambassador for Rhapsody and followed by Celebrities from various field had joined hands and inspired others by giving their support and presence by performing an array of various genresof art

• Mimicry by Vijay TV Fame Vignesh Karthik
• Dance by Vijay TV fame Zero 6 Dance company and couple of corporate Dance Group’s
• Light music band – By Corporate Team
• Fashion Show (A ramp walk involving the cancer survivors and a celebrity show stopper)
