The latest buzz in film circles is that- the 62nd film of ‘Ilaya Thalapathi’ Vijay will be directed by Selvaraghavan and produced by Dhanush’s Wunderbar banner.
Though there is no official news about this, sources in the know say that preliminary talks have already been initiated and things are proceeding in the right way.
“For the first time, Selvaraghavan will try his hands at an out and out commercial script, that would suit Vijay’s image. At the same time, there will be Selva’s unique stamp too,” sources said.
Known for bankrolling small budget films, Wunderbar recently ventured into mega projects. At present, it is all set to produce Superstar Rajinikanth’s new film to be directed by Pa Ranjith.
Recently, ‘Visaranai’ by Wunderbar was selected for Oscars as India’s nomination. A happy Dhanush said, “Proud moment for Wunderbar Films and Vetrimaaran. Dream big. My sincere thanks to all those who believed in me and my production house.”
