It’s official now. Vijay Sethupathi, who shares a very good rapport with Dhanush, will do a cameo in the latter’s ambitious project ‘Vada Chennai’, being helmed by National Award winning filmmaker Vetrimaaran.Confirming the development, Dhanush said, “Vijay Sethupathi will be playing a very important extended cameo in Vada Chennai. Very happy.”
This is the third project for Dhanush with Vetrimaaran, with the first two being ‘Polladhavan’ and ‘Aadukalam’, both much acclaimed and commercial hits.
Initially, Samantha was said to be the heroine. But now, it is learnt she has been replaced by Amala Paul. The film is said to be a gangster trilogy, set in the northern parts of the city. It is produced by Dhanush’s Wunderbar Films.
