Velammal, Mogappair campus organized an awareness seminar on prevention of Child Abuse and Women Empowerment on 06.12.17 at its premises. The guest of honour Ms. Deepika stressed on the crucial role to be played by the parents and teachers in imparting and inculcating the values among the children for the safety and betterment of an individual. The highlight of the seminar was, how to put an end to the global prevalence of child abuse. She also gave guidelines to defend oneself.
