Superstar Rajinikanth, who has taken a break from ‘2.0’ and rejuvenated himself in the United States, is all set to resume shooting for the Shankar-directed movie.
“Recently, top officials of Lyca Productions, including the group’s big boss Subaskaran Allirajah, met Rajini in Chennai and conveyed their wishes for the grand success of ‘Kabali’. During the meeting, the ‘thalaivar’ told them that he would join the sets of ‘2.0’ soon,” sources said.
During the absence of Rajini, Shankar shot other scenes which did not require him. Much recently, some crucial scenes were shot at an old Railway building at Ayanavaram. According to sources, the edifice was ‘converted’ into city police commissioner’s office.
Amy Jackson, Akshay Kumar and Sudanshu Pandey play key roles in this flick, which is being made simultaneously in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi and other languages. Oscar-Grammy winner A R Rahman is taking care of music.
