PUNERI PALTAN TRIUMPHS OVER DABANG DELHI 26- 21

Winning team Pune comes back to win their 2nd match of the season. Fate has it, they win the toss and have decided to court. Both the teams start off with a few empty raids. Sandeep Narwal is on a strike as he takes down both Anand Patil and MerajSheykh. There is a lot of strength being shown by both teams. With a couple of empty raids, the game still goes on. A review is requested by Delhi and more withers away with its result. With an effort to get a bonus point, Anand Patil takes out DharmarajCheralathan in ease. As of now the game is getting quite tense, with neither of the teams willing to compromise and playing in a very stiff style. The king of DO OR DIE, Rajesh Mondal, attacks and emerges in success as the game proceeds. As swiftly as possible, Shubham Ashok Palkar gets his first 5 points in the game! What a smart move. After a series of outs and in’s, a stupendous tackle is witnessed in a team effort by Shinde and Hodage. Raider Sriram steps in moving quickly, as though he is standing on a volcano! Remarkable. Delhi is definitely in the game! But for not too long as Niwas Hooda sends him packing back to the bench. This brings us to an end of the 1st half of the game. Raid Points 7-6, Tackle Points 4-2, Extra Points 2-2.

The 2nd half is back on, completely sprung in action. Dabangs are racing along the highline of the game but with some unfortunate tackling, Delhi is made to bench two of their players. Post review, Delhi gets another point allowing them to revive 2 of their players. Post a few empty raids from Pune, a supertackleis produced from Sheykh and Sunil. Delhi is now DOWN TO 1. Shubham gets back in and is attempting to gain points but soon, gets out leaving Delhi on an ALL OUT. There is so much of tension in the game right now. A tremendous run for the moment produced by Nilesh Shinde the minute eyes were diverted for less than a second by Sandeep Narwal. A huge breakthrough for skipper of the Pune team who crosses his 400 point mark! There is a series of Ins and outs from both ends of the teams. What a game it has been so far as we reach the end of it, fire blazes across the players on court. Puneri Paltan takes over for the 2nd time, in a row by beating Dabang Delhi with a difference of 5 points, score being 26 – 21.
