Prime Video’s first Telugu original film Ammu, a gripping, emotional thriller, is all set to enthrall audiences on October 19.

Prime Video today announced the worldwide premiere of Ammu, its first Telugu original film, on 19 October. Produced by renowned filmmaker Karthik Subbaraj as creative producer, Kalyan Subramanian and Karthikeyan Santhanam of Stone Bench Films, the film, written and directed by Sarukesh Shekhar, is a drama thriller about a woman who rises like a phoenix in the face of adversity. Ammu experiences a thrilling transformation as she finds strength and gives back to her abusive husband. The film stars Aishwarya Lexmi in the title role alongside Naveen Chandra and Simha. Prime members in India and over 240 countries and territories can stream Ammu in Telugu with Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada and Hindi language dubs.

The first look was released by leading directors like Karthik Subbaraj, Vineeth Srinivasan, Kiranraj, Tarun Bhaskar and the official release date of Ammu was announced by veteran actresses Sai Pallavi, Manju Warrier, Samyukta Hegde.
