Pooja Devariya, who won accolades for her performance in ‘Iraivi’, will share the screen space with Vijay Sethupathi once again. She will be one of the two female leads of the actor’s upcoming film ‘Aandavan Kattalai’.Ritika Singh of ‘Irudhi Suttru’ fame is the other heroine of the project, beind directed by Manikandan of ‘Kaaka Muttai’ fame. Pooja says she has bagged a lively role.
“I am thankful to Mani for offering me such an interesting character. It has a lot of me in it. Mani is a man of clarity and working with Vijay Sethupathi again is such a delight,” Pooja says.
Pooja, after making her film debut with Selvaraghavan’s ‘Mayakkam Enna’ (2011), she worked extensively in theatre with the Stray Factory, before returning to films in 2015. Since 2010, she has worked on stage performances and online videos with the company. She has won four Best Actress awards for her various performances at theatre festivals.
