Actor-filmmaker R Parthiepan, who made a remarkable comeback with ‘Kadhai Thiraikadhai Vasanam Iyakkam’ a couple of years ago, is now ready for his next venture.
Titled ‘Koditta Idangalai Nirappuga’, shoot for the film will start soon. “It will be a comedy entertainer for family audience and I finalised the title after checking with an autorickshaw driver,” says the ‘Puthiya Paathai’ and ‘Ulle Veliye’ maker.
Meanwhile, Parthiepan’s daughter Keerthana has joined as assistant director to Mani Ratnam in his upcoming film ‘Kaatru Veliyidai’, which has Karthi and Aditi Rao Hydari in lead roles. Shooting for the film is going on in Ooty.
As a child artiste, Keerthana played the lead role in Mani Ratnam’s ‘Kannathil Muthamittal’, Her performance in the critically acclaimed film won her huge accolades and in 2003, she bagged the National Film Award for Best Child Artist.
