Olaf’s Frozen Adventure-Longest Short Film in Pixar History to be attached to COCO!

We all remember the super success of Disney’s FROZEN, and the award winning spree the film went on post its release. Now in a special Childrens Day treat for you animation and ‘Olaf’ the snowman fans out there, we have special news that there is going to a short film called Olaf’s Frozen Adventure attached to their next film COCO!

Whats more it is going to be the longest short film ever attached in a Pixar film! The fact that it’s a 21 mins short is something Pixar has never done before. There is always a short before a Pixar release but a 21 minuter is Pixar’s way of telling audience that something big is awaited when Frozen 2 will hit screens in 2019.

In the 21-minute featurette “Olaf’s Frozen Adventure,” Olaf teams up with Sven on a merry mission to bring home the best traditions and save Anna and Elsa’s first Christmas in forever. “Olaf’s Frozen Adventure” celebrates characters who won over audiences worldwide when “Frozen” first hit the big screen in 2013. Earning more than $1.27 billion globally, the film won two Academy Awards® (best animated film and best original song with “Let It Go”) and a Golden Globe® (best animated feature film).

The short film will be attached to COCO, which has already received its ‘Hollywood Animation Award’ even before the movie hits the theaters. The production of Coco was completed a little over a few weeks ago and now the film has already won its first award.

Disney-Pixar’s Coco, directed by Lee Unkrich and co-directed by Adrian Molina, stars Anthony Gonzalez, Gael García Bernal and Benjamin Bratt in a story about a boy who, inspired by his idol, the late, great musician Ernesto de la Cruz, sets off on an adventure of music and mystery, resulting in the most unusual family reunion.

‘Coco’ opens in theaters on Nov. 24, 2017.
