Lyca Kovai Kings start favourites against iDream Karaikudi Kaalai

Lyca Kovai Kings will be hoping to extend their dominance over iDream Karaikudi Kaalai and rise in the points table during their 4th Sankar Cement Tamil Nadu Twenty20 Premier League (TNPL) at the MA Chidambaram Stadium, Chennai on Sunday.

LKK has blown hot and cold winning two and losing three, including two back to back defeats, ahead of their Chennai trip. iDKK, on the other hand, have struggled since their opening victory against Ruby Trichy Warriors. They have lost their last four games with the margin of defeats – 110 runs to VB Kanchi Veerans, 54 runs to Chepauk Super Gillies, 10 wickets to Dindigul Dragons and by 57 runs to Tuti Patriots —  a big cause for concern.

iDKK will have to dig really deep if they are to come out trumps against LKK, to whom they have lost four times in their last five meetings. Their only victory against LKK came in the first season.

LKK have four points from five matches and are placed fifth in the standings while iDKK are placed seventh with just two points from five matches.
