After keeping Rajini fans guessing, the Censor of his upcoming film ‘Kabali’ happened this afternoon (July 11). “The show for Censor officials commenced at a popular preview theatre in Chennai. The outcome will be known soon,” sources said.
Following the Censor certification, the release date of the much awaited movie of the year will be decided and announced by producer Kalaipuli S Thanu.
Rajini, who is currently in the United States, is expected to return to Chennai later this month. Though he was originally expected to reach Chennai during the first week of July itself, sources have said he would be in the city only by the end of the month.
However, they brushed aside rumours about his health and said the ‘thalaivar’ is fit and fine.
‘Kabali’, written and directed by Pa Ranjith of ‘Madras’ and ‘Attakathi’ fame, has Radhika Apte, Kishore, Kalaiarasan, Dinesh and Dhanshika in key roles. Music is by Santhosh Narayanan.
