‘Kashmora will hit the screens for Deepavali’

Actor karthiAfter hat-trick of successes, Karthi is looking to continue is dream run at the box-office with his upcoming projects. The actor who is also the treasurer of Nadigar Sangam talks about the association’s agendas Karthi who recently wrapped up his portions for Kaashmora looked suave in a navy blue bandhgala suit on the day of our interview. Most importantly, the actor was not seen in a cap which he has been wearing for public appearances for more than 5 months. “It is because I have completed shooting for Kaashmora,” he smiles.

When asked if the movie has been wrapped up, he says, “No the movie will be completed by the end of this week and will release for Deepavali.” Meanwhile, Karthi is busy reading the script for one of the most awaited movie of his career, with his mentor Mani Ratnam. “I have been reading the script and looking forward to work with him as the movie will start rolling from July. The movie is going to be a great learning experience for me personally. The way he delivers what we read on the script will be entirely different and amazing. As an actor it is an opportunity for me to open up what all I have learnt so far in my career”

While it had been reported had the actor started to take up a crash course in aviation for the movie in which he will be playing an NRI pilot, he says, “I am yet to start with the course as I was shooting for Kaashmora. My flying lessons ‘will take off soon’.”

Karthi who is the treasurer of Nadigar Sangam says that the building plan has already been submitted to the CMDA and is awaiting the approval. “It will take some time. We might get the approval but we need funds too for the dream to come true. For that Vishal and I will be a part of a film which will go into the building construction funds.” Ask him if it is a multi-starrer, he smiles and concludes, “If everyone’s willing to be a part of it, then yes, it will be a multi-starrer.”
