Kamal’s new technique in ‘Sabaash Naidu’

kamalsabashnaiduKnown for trying new things in every film of him, Kamal Haasan is at it again. Contrary to editing a movie after the shoot is over, the ‘Ulaga Nayagan’ has edited this upcoming flick of him for 42 minutes.

“42+ minutes edited length in each language. + 1 song with Shruti completed.  Looking good.  Kundu and Naidu have a life of their own,:” Kamal, who is directing the movie besides playing the lead role, posted on his Twitter page.

In fact, it was Rajeev Kumar who was initially named as the director of ‘Sabaash Naidu’. However, Kamal took over the baton after Rajiv fell ill.

In a statement, he had said, “My director, Rajeev has taken extremely ill. The unfortunate setback occurred when we were on the fourth day of our recce in Los Angeles.”

“He has been diagnosed with Lyme disease. It is a rare infection prevalent in Europe and North America. This is the reason I am now directing the film… I moved in as a standby director hoping my friend, Rajeev, will recover soon,” he stated.

“It seems he will, but not in time to finish this film, which is tightly scheduled to end principal shooting by July-end or the first week of August. I am sure when he is up and about, he will have many more films to direct,” he added.
