Actress Sandhya, who rose to fame with the film ‘Kadhal’, has been blessed with a baby girl a few days ago. Her friend and actress Suja Varunee has shared a picture of Sandhya along with the newborn.
Sandhya’s husband Venkat was also seen in one of the pictures. “Very happy for my loveable friend #Sandhya n #Venkat as she blessed with baby girl ! My heartily wishes for you dear ?”, posted Suja.
Sandhya was part of many Tamil, Malayalam, Telugu and Kannada films. She made her debut as an actress in the 2004 Tamil film ‘Kadhal’ (2004), her performance in which earned her a Filmfare Award and Tamil Nadu State Film Award.
She married a Chennai-based IT professional, Venkat Chandrasekharan, on 6 December 2015. The ceremony was held at Guruvayur Temple because of the floods in Chennai. Her father was a bank employee.
