* ‘Kabali’ is the first ever Indian film to be publicised in flight, thanks to its tie-up with Air Asia.
* Within hours of opening of advance booking, ‘Kabali’ tickets have been sold out for the first five days not just in Tamil Nadu, but in neighbouring states like Karnataka too.
* In the US, ‘Kabali’ was sold out within two hours. The film is releasing in 400 theatres there.
* Chennai’s SPI Cinema, which is playing the film on its 27 Chennai screens amounting to 96 shows per day, sold out its tickets for first three days in minutes.
* In term of numbers, Kabali is releasing in 12,000 screens, which is double the number of Salman Khan’s ‘Sultan’.
* ‘Kabali’ producer Kalaipuli S Thanu has said the film would collect more than Rs 500 crore, and Rs 200 crores in the first three days itself.
