Sivakarthikeyan-starrer ‘Remo’ and Jiiva’s ‘Kavalai Vendam’ will hit the screens on October 7, thus paving way for a box-office clash between the two flicks.
While ‘Remo’ is a rom-com directed by debutant Bhagyaraj Kannan and featuring Sivaarthikeyan and Keerthi Suresh in lead roles, ‘Kavalai Vendam’ is directed by Deekay of ‘Yaam Irukka Bayamey’ fame starring Jiiva and Kajal Agarwal in the lead.
In a statement, ‘Kavalai Vendam’ producer Elred Kumar said, “as the title suggests, it is an apt movie to watch during holidays. Jiiva and Kajal Agarwal are being paired for first time. We are confident of providing a clean family entertainer”.
He added: “Deekay has dwelled upon few factors that will attract the audience to the screens. We are confident of providing feel good factor to the audience.”
