‘Nimirndhu Nil’ was the first movie in the combination of Samuthirakani and Jayam Ravi. The director and the actor are set to come together once again, this time for a film titled ‘Thondan’.
Samuthirakani has confirmed this development and said that if everything goes as planned, shooting for the movie would commence by the end of this year.
Samuthirakani, who has emerged a national award winning actor (for ‘Visaranai’), has won the accolades of many for his portrayal of an ideal father in the recent release ‘Appa’.
On the other hand, Ravi, who had back to back hits last year (‘Thani Oruvan’ and ‘Boologam’ etc), is currently shooting for ‘Bogan’ directed by Lakshman of ‘Romeo Juliet’ fame. He will also commence working on a movie to be helmed by Vijay.
