Even as busy shooting for his 60th film, Vijay has apparently decided on his 61st project too. According to sources, the film will bring together the ‘Theri’ trio of Vijay, director Atlee and Kalaipuli S Thanu.
“Things were finalised already and Thanu was just waiting for the release of his biggest production venture, Superstar Rajinikanth starrer ‘Kabali’. Now that the film has hit the screens, he is expected to make a formal announcement on his new project with Vijay anytime,” sources said.
It is learnt that Atlee impressed Vijay with an interesting storyline during the making of ‘Theri’ itself. Since ‘Theri’ turned out to be a huge hit, expectations are expected to soar on the new project from the same team.
Meanwhile, more than 60 per cent shoot of ‘Vijay-60’ is said to be over. Directed by Bharathan of ‘Azhagia Tamil Magan’ fame and produced by Vijaya Productions, the film has Keerthy Suresh as heroine. ‘Enga Veetu Pillai’ is the tentative title.
