Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology progress and contribution in the field of Research and Technical education for over 30 years placed the Institute in one among the top 50 Universities in the country, continuously for three consecutive years in the NIRF Ranking Frame Work. The Institute accredited by ‘A’ grade NAAC. Sathyabama awarded four stars rating for overall performance by QS (Quacquarelli Symonds), one among the six Institutions in India to receive this recognition on a global level. With the approval from the Board of Trustees along with President Dr. Marie Johnson, Dr. Mariazeena Johnson, has been appointed as Chancellor of Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology from 08 March, 2019. Dr. Mariazeena Johnson has done her Ph.D. Degree from University of Madras and has received many awards and accolades for her contributions to the field of education, social service and women development.
