Producers from Tollywood and Bollywood have approached the makers of Santhanam’s Friday release ‘Dhillu Dhuddu’ to remake the movie in their respective languages.
“The film’s producers Sri Thenandal Films is holding talks with them and deals will be signed soon, after which an official announcement will be made,” sources said.
Meanwhile, the movie is said to have collected Rs 3.3 crore on its first day, thus emerging the fourth highest day one opening this year.
Directed by Rambala, the film has Shanaya as the heroine, while Saurabh Shukla appears in a pivotal role. Featuring music composed by S Thaman, ‘Dhilluku Dhuddu’ released on 7 July 2016 to positive reviews from critics. Meanwhile, the film’s satellite rights have been acquired by Sun TV.
