Shruti Nallapa the co producer representing Pramodh films says’ We as a company were looking out for an apt film to launch our self here in the Tamil film Industry. On a casual note i saw ‘Charlie’ and fell in love with the concept instantly. I discussed with the producer Prakeeth on this and he was more than excited too. The basic line of the film as well as the two intriguing characters of both the male and the female lead are still sketched in our memories.we felt Director Vijay would be a perfect choice to do this in Tamil, he is in complete sync with what we wanted for the film. Madhavan was our first and foremost choice as a hero, his versatile image will go a long way in determining the course of the film.We are determined to retain the core content and modify the script to suit the Tamil audience. The discussions on the Heroine, other cast and crew is one and we are determined to have the best in this’.
Vijay and Madhavan will apparently start working on this untitled remake from November 15 and the finalization of others in the cast and crew are happening on full swing, which would be officially affirmed shortly.
