Apsara reddy joined the people’s protest

Apsara reddy joined the people’s protest at bethel nagar injambakkam. this is her residential area and she has worked with the people of this area on many charitable causes and visits the temple very often. the people sat in an apolitical protest to ask for their right to remain in their homes. the Tamil Nadu government has been issuing several warnings to the people to vacate their homes as there is improper documents of the land.

Apsara reddy who sat in the protest said, “I did not come here as a politician. as a transgender woman i have seen and felt the pain of being homeless and being left alone. i am here as the sister of the people. they have all paid their electricity bills and other related taxes. i also would like to remind Mr Stalin and all other parties that the election promises were made to the people of this area that they would have the right to remain in their homes.

Many of the people have lost jobs, family members to corona and are economically suffering. the tamil nadu government must safeguard the homes and lives of the people. i request the honourable chief minister to understand the pain and suffering of the people of injambakkam bethel nagar.”
