The shoot of ace director Mani Ratnam’s upcoming film, ‘Kaatru Veliyidai’, is underway at a brisk pace.
After filming a major portion in Ooty, the cast and crew are currently in Chennai, after which they will be flying to Kashmir for another schedule.
Now, new details have emerged about the characters in this romantic entertainer. Sources say, heroine Aditi Rao Hydari is playing a doctor in the film.
“Recently, scenes between the lead pair were canned at a city hospital, where Karthi was being treated by Aditi”, added sources.
The movie that is the film-maker’s next after the hit ‘OK Kanmani’ had its first look poster with lead actors Karthi and Aditi Rao Hydari, recently released. It may be noted that the ‘Komban’ star is playing a pilot in this flick, for which he recently underwent training classes in an aviation school in the city.
With music by A R Rahman , ‘Kaatru Veliyidai’ has cinematography by Ravi Varman, editing by Sreekar Prasad and is produced by Madras Talkies.
