Mani Ratnam’s heroines are always known for their delicate and innocent looks coupled with powerful performances. Aditi Rao Hydari, who has been roped in by the ace director for his next venture ‘Kaatru Veliyidai’, is expected to be one more in the list.
The dainty actress has started shooting for the film and everyone on the sets as well as industry insiders alike think that she reminds them of Manisha Koirala from her ‘Bombay’ and ‘Dil Se’ days, said a press statement from her publicist.
It quoted a source from the sets of the film: “When we shot with Aditi on the first day, she reminded everyone of Manisha Koirala from Dil Se who was the poster girl of innocence clubbed with performance. It’s a lethal combination and one we are eager to watch come alive again with Aditi.”
Just a few days ago, the film’s first poster was released and It has received amazing response. Karthi is playing the lead role and music is by Oscar-Grammy winner A R Rahman, who has already completed composing three songs.
