Yendha nerathilum is by Muthukumar and with a lot of debutants cast is a horror drama that makes a comeback after a brief hiatus
Set in the locales of Ooty the story of YN is cold and despite all the drama fails to make any impact. The horror is kid stuff and the drama is highly immature. The flash back as well as the horror elements brings out a very big yawn. Too many loose ends and a very amateurish ending make YN a tedious watch.
With newcomers on board and a weak script the acting too suffers. Yashmith, Ramakrishnan, Leema Babu all try their bit but do not make any impression. The saving grace is Sandra who comes out with a decent performance especially during the unconvincing horror scenes.
Cinematography by Saalai Saahadevan is sub standard while music by Sathish is very average. Back ground score by Sabesh Murali and is decent. Dialogues and direction by Muthukumar fails to make any impact.
