Velainu Vandhutta Vellaikaran Movie Review

Velainu Vandhutta VellaikaaranIt is an Ezhlil flick and people who are used to his kind of films would surely lap it up. Save for the mention of the title in the beginning and the end of the movie you would hardly relate it to any happening in the movie. Ezhil judiciously follows mixes his ingredients and what you have is a supposedly laugh riot.

The script has slapstick written all over it and this means that there is no room for logic or any kind of sensibility. The goal of the movie is to make the audience laugh, though it manages to bring in some laughter they are very far and few. Between the laughter its one long drag.

The actors do their job well; particularly Robo Shankar has a prominent role in the movie. Soori despite his efforts makes us feel what if Vadivelu were to play his role. Nikki Galrani kicks her way through the movie.

Technically there are little drawbacks, the garish tone for the movie suits the loudness of the script. The music is as noisy as you can get. The songs have just a temporary effect.

On the whole VVT is supposed to be a summer entertainer, and to the ones who are in the mood to get away for 2.30 hours from the heat and for some mindless comedy, rush to the nearest theatre.
