VALLA DESAM MOVIE REVIEW

NT Nantha directs this action thriller that is produced by K Raveendran Emmanuel and has Anu Hassan playing the lead after a long break.

The plot of Valladesam is new to Kollywood especially when the protagonist in the film is a female. This espionage movie does not get going and the twists and turns do not help. The predictability despite the ordinary surprises is a letdown. The logic too takes a beating especially where you have a spy who takes her kid on the job. It is also a bit embarrassing to see the military general advice his wards on the roof top of some forsaken house every time.

Anu Hassan draws in her experience to give out a good performance and Nassar too does well in a role that he has done for the nth time. Others are OK.

Cinematography by Nantha himself is good capturing the London locales well. Editing by Deepak could have been better. Muthukumarasamy scores the music and does not make an impact. Dialogues could have been better and the direction is decent.

VALLADESAM has its intentions right but falters in execution.

VALLADESAM BALAVEENAM !!
