Pichuva kaththi is by debutant Iyyappan and produced by Mathaiyan that has Inigo Prabhakaran in the lead role.

There is a sense of nothingness that envelopes the story of PK. The proceedings are very dull and drab. The characterization of Inigo and his gang is so weak that you don’t empathize nor want to slog them. The reasons are very unconvincing. Added to that is the other romantic pair and their romance that is an unnecessary speed breaker to the already slow plot. All ends rather tamely with no proper purpose nor message.

Inego Prabhakaran is OK in his role and his side kicks Senguttavan and Yogi Babu give him good company. The female leads in the form of Anisha Xavier and Sri Priyanka are at the best novices. Others form the rest of the cast.

Cinematography by KG Venkatesh is OK while music by N.Raghunathan manages to keep the proceedings afloat. Editing could have been better while dialogues are standard. Direction by Ayyapan is found wanting.
