Ben Consortium studios produce this movie that is directed by debutant SS Surya. The movie has Vikram Prabhu plays a double role in this film.
The only serious scene in this film is the first scene and from there the movie is an ensemble of “thiruvizhas” that can bore the viewers to death. The movie falters terribly in all departments’ especially bad writing and terrible screenplay. The characterization is pathetic to say the least not to forget the predictability and the nonexistent story.
Vikram Prabhu tries his best but fails to salvage the film. Bindu Madhavi does not impress, while Nikki Galrani as Rajini fan is average. Soori continues to perform poorly, while Sathish and the rest of the so called “comedians” fail to evoke any laughter.
Saravanan’s cinematography provides decent visuals considering the entire length of the film is mostly shot outdoors. Sathya as the music director is loud and wastes his sound track in this poor film. Sasikumar as the editor would have had one huge task to edit this film and he seems to have done what he could do the best with the mess in hand. Debutant Sasi looks capable but is let down by a bad script and very poor execution.
PAKKA easily can rank as the worst movie to have come this year and is well on road to hold on to it.
