Naalu Peruku Nalladhuna Edhuvum Thappilla Movie Review

Dinesh Selvaraj who assisted Maniratnam comes out with NPNET which is his debut venture.

The plot is interesting and the way it unravels is nicely narrated. The characters do not fool around and stay honest to the plot. The script is engaging most of the times, though there are moments the screenplay slackens the pace of the script. The movie has a surprise that viewers will notice a little late and interestingly despite the awareness the movie still manages to end quite decently without the presence of the absence.

PRabhu, Karthikeyan , Johny and Evansri the lead characters do a decent job and each have their own styles that is rudiment throughout the movie.

Cinematography by Bhagat singh is good while music by Navin and Beon manages to stay afloat. The editor in Xavier cuts the movie well. The dialogues are fine, while direction by a debutant clearly is applause worthy.

NPNET is an attempt to try out something difference and it works mostly well. Trivial issues ignored, the attempt is more praiseworthy for taking a different route and not succumbing to any pressure that is not required for a script focused film.
