Nayagi Movie Review

Nayagi-movieNagging & Dragging

Even if you are a die-hard fan of Trisha and watch her films only for her, we doubt whether you would like ‘Nayagi’. The actress has made a right decision by staying out of the movie’s promotions, for the flick is such a tedious watch.

The films tests patience, tests intelligence, fails to make emotional connect, and, depsite being a ‘horror thriller’, there is not even one spine-chilling moment.

The story goes like this: Sanjay (Satyam Rajesh), an aspiring filmmaker, wants to trap his innocent girlfriend Sandhya (Sushma Raj).

He goes to a haunted house, where ghost Gayathri (Trisha) punishes perverted men, who cheat women and destroy their lives. Who is Gayathri? How did she die? What are her intensions form the crux of ‘Nayagi’.

Though Trisha tries to give her best, her performance falls flat thanks to amateurish narration. Ganesh Venkatraman and Sushma are adequate. We wonder how Trisha accepted this movie. Watch at your own risk.
