NAA PERU SURYA NA ILLU INDIA MOVIE REVIEW

After a string of back to back blockbusters Tollywood delivers another much anticipated movie that has Allu Arvind playing Surya and Ramalakshmi Cine Creations producing NAA PERU SURYA NA ILLU INDIA.

The film embarks on the background of patriotism but adds a few twists to make it commercially entertaining as well as a little intriguing. This is where the film loses track, with the movie switching tracks uneasily the movie falters now and then. Yes there are moments that rise and sometimes inspire too, though preachy. It is fun at times and also forced.

Allu Arvind owns the film. Allu Arvind with a near perfect physique delivers a macho performance that sure will please his fans. Any Emmanuel is OK in her role and is used sparingly. The movie has a more than a few seasoned actors in the form of Boman Irani, Sharath Kumar, Charu Hassan and Sai Kumar. All do what is expected of them.

Cinematography by Rajeev Ravi is wonderful and editing by Kotagiri Venkateshwara Rao is crunchy. Vishal Shekar have been imported from Bollywood to score the music and save for one song that sounds like Ringa ringa the others have the bolly touch sounding a little alien in the local language. Dialogues are good and direction by Vamsi is above average.

NAA PERU SURYA NA ILLU INDIA with its amazing production values passes off as a decent entertainer but then it had potential to be a better film especially with Allu Arjun baring his heart out.

NAA PERU SURYA NA ILLU INDIA – SURYA !!
