METRO Movie Review

metroMetro by director Anandakrishnan and takes on the subject of chain snatching that happens in the city. It also dwells on the greed of the youth and their lack of remorselessness for their actions.

Though the premise of the movie is thrilling and has very good scope for a nail biting screenplay. “Metro” just about manages to skim through. The interesting plot is let down by some very ordinary screenplay that is stretched. The scenes are not tight and are lackadaisical. Most of the scenes are predictable.

Performance by everyone is sketchy. It could be more the fault of the director than the performers. A little exaggeration does not help either. Otherwise they are just about OK.
Technically too the film suffers from flaws. The BG is loud, the editing needed more work and the camera too was just above average. Dialogues were fine though a good plot went downhill because of the director. For all its flaws the message of the movie cannot be ignored and a special mention for not sticking to the commercial template.

METRO – OK!!
