KANNUM KANNUM KOLLAYADITHAL MOVIE REVIEW

KANNUM KANNUM KOLLAYADITHAL is written and directed by debutant Desingh Periyasamy. Viacom 18 Studios is the producer of this romantic thriller.

There has been a bevy of IT crime thrillers and KKK too falls under that category, albeit an interesting difference. A neat and perceptive plot, a canny  screenplay, wonderful performances and deft execution makes KKK entertaining from the go. The script has gone through fine detailing and that shows. But then there is also a glitch in  the absence of an impressive antagonist or the presence of conducively favourable conditions at all times. The climax too is mostly predictable but fun in the end ..

Dulquer Salman is one of the finest talents down south and you can see why. He is effortlessly sedulous. Ritu Varma is the perfect check to DS and carries her own remarkably well. Rakshan could be the weakest link. Niranjani is neat. Gowthan Vasudeva Menon expectedly, walks and talks like a model as he usually does, totally impervious to the situation on screen but still is effective.

K.M. Bhaskaran as the cinematographer does a slick job and the visuals are brilliant.  Harshvardhan and Rameshwar under Masala Coffee score peppy songs and the BG bristles with energy. Praveen Anthony’s editing is industrious. Dialogues are a treat and direction by DP is fantastic.

KANNUM KANNUM KOLLAYADITHAL is a must go to the theatres for a fun-filled and rollicking watch.
