DHAYAM MOVIE REVIEW

Dhayam is by debutant director Kannan Rangasamy who helms a very young crew and cast for this film which is supposedly a remake of the English flick “Exam”.

A one room thriller Dhayam actually needs a “One” word review. This hotchpotch remake lacks substance and makes a very tedious watch. There is nothing to write about the plot which anyway is plainly ridiculous. The dialogues are silly while the screenplay tests every nerve.

The male actors are loud while the female actors are pathetic to say the least.
Packiaraj behind the camera has nothing great to do while the music tries to give you a hangover after the movie. The dialogues are sub standard.

Dhayam inspired by “Exam” which itself was inspired by a few other movies turns out to be one bad example of multiple inspirations. Dhayam unfortunately lacks maturity from all angles as its crew and deserves economical criticism just because of its young crew.
