DHADHA 87 is by Vijay Sri G that has Charuhassan playing the title role and is produced by Venu Ravichandran.
DHADHA 87 is quite a different film contrary to what the trailer tried to reveal. The film starts off unimpressively with a boring cast and an even tiring script. Untimely songs, juvenile action, silly comedy and bad execution make DD87 a tough watch. Even the twist post interval does not excite the viewer and the movie goes downhill.
Charuhassan does not fit the bill of a gangster despite all the hype. Anand Pandi does not impress. It is Sri Pallavi who delivers a convincing performance. Janakraj too looks jaded. Navin Vishal and the rest are OK.
Raja Pandi’s cinematography is just about average. Leander Lee Marty music is decent. Sri Vatsan editing makes the movie a tough watch. Dialogues are preachy and average while direction by Vijay Sri is middling.
Perhaps the Vijay Sri had the right idea on paper but on screen it flounders.
