BRAMMA.COM MOVIE REVIEW

PS Vijayakumar is the writer director for this film that is advertised as a “comic fantasy” addressed to the younger crowd.

Fantasy has neither limitations nor inhibitions, but yet the smartness in fantasy genre should be in its execution and presentation. This is where the film falters miserably. Despite decent production values, the narration reeks of mediocrity and pathetic levels of stupidity. Forced humour disappoints and rarely there is a good moment in the film.

Nakkul returns to the silver screen after a long break and is quite OK in this unconvincing character. Ashna Zaveri has very little to do. Mottai Rajendran is loud as you can get in his template role while others make up the rest of the cast.

Cinematography by Dipak Kumar Panday is good while Siddharth Vipin churns average fare that has below average lyrics. Editing by Sabu Joseph is OK and dialogues are standard. Direction by Vijay Kumar for a first timer could have been better.
