ANDHRA MESS MOVIE REVIEW

ANDHRA MESS is produced by Nirmal K Bala and directed by debutant Jai. A peculiar name and even more atypical trailer content set the buzz up for this film.

The movie as it promised to be started quite interestingly, but as it went on the viewer would realize it just was not going anywhere. The film settles into its own comfort with the characters throwing barbs at each other with nowhere to go. Laziest at its making and lazier in writing the movie tries to impress the viewer with its quirkiness in presentation visually and yet fails to make its mark. There is nothing of strength in this film and is pulled down by its even more indolent pace. Even the comedy is a dud. There are some preachy messages that pop up every now and then but the audience by then is in deep slumber and even the climax does not wake them up.

The movie is watchable because of the actors who appear convincing in this weak script. AP Shreethar is apt while Mathivannan, Raj Bharath, Pooja, Syed, Kasthuri and Vinoth play their part well in the film .

The back ground department has taken the “quirkiness” seriously and does their job well. Cinematography by Mukesh is a plus in the form of lighting and its frames. Music by Prashanth Pillai too works most of the time. Dialogues are weak and direction by Jai is decent.

ANDHRA MESS is a movie bemuses the audience without a menu and a food that is without salt and spice.

ANDHRA MESS – PATTNI !!
